Summary:

 

We are adding a Project Manager to a newly acquired business platform Compass Water Solutions, a leading global supplier of membrane-based industrial water and wastewater treatment systems. this role locates at Orange County, CA. 

This project manager works with Sales, Engineering, Finance and Management to respond to RFQ’s. Organize and implement the overall documentation requirements of the Project Office, Engineering department and Sales Group. 

 

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Work with Sales, Engineering, Finance and Management to respond to RFQ’s. 
  • To establish a Project documentation management system including Generic Documentation Library with forms, certifications, letters of conformance, ITPS, Instrument Lists, and all other types of document requirements that are associated with projects according to the Control Document Procedure. 
  • Utilize the Project Management tools, control Document Control Procedure when issuing, changing, etc. Attend the kick off meetings for each of these project specific jobs. Research any new components or items needed for this project that are not a company’ standard and provide the information to the Engineering Manager for determination of use.
  • Establish a standard for O&M manuals and implement for all products. This includes organizing and making an appendices library, working with service and parts to assure proper parts presentations, making revisions as required in a timely fashion, revving the manuals and Helping with drawings as needed to accomplish this end.
  • Conduct as required, review meetings with Compass management, purchasing dept., production dept. to track the status and requirements of any project in progress.
  • Provide engineering assistance to all departments, regarding interpretation of any drawings and/or operation of all Compass systems
  • Prepare Operations Manuals and FAT tests as required for standard.
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your manager such as correcting RED LINES and FATS etc.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks and the suite of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work load independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree preferred 
  • Project background or equivalent work experience is preferred

Positions in this function typically require typing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.  

  • Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods. 
  • The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of job.  Visits to our manufacturing facility and suppliers’ facilities is required to monitor active projects and address design issues. 
  • Compliance with company attendance standards.

Pay Range

USD $85,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
