SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving growth by conducting research of energy-related markets and applications, identifying new sales leads, developing business relationships, and maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions. This role is primarily focused on business development in North America.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Identify potential clients in the target markets (Gas Processing, Gas Compression, Carbon Capture and Sequestration (“CCUS”), Hydrogen Electrolysis and Power, Renewable Fuels) and complete appropriate research on prospective clients’ business needs
Develop relationships with prospective clients, and support expansion of existing client relationships
Utilize knowledge of market trends and sales techniques to present innovative ideas and solutions to potential clients
Collaborate with sales team to develop sales strategies to address these markets
Collaborate with marketing team to develop effective messaging & proposals information
Gather and maintain useful information from industry conferences and events, customer and competitor data, and online market & project information sources
Prepare and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
Prioritize, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in energy, power, or related industries
Proven experience in outside sales or business development
Strong background in technical sales with a focus on industrial equipment and services
Excellent customer service and account management skills
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed growth targets
Demonstrated ability to convert research results into effective Bus-Dev actions
Strong understanding of energy-related market applications
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce CRM software
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Science-related field can be a plus
Demonstrated interactions with project-based by EPC companies is a plus

Positions in this function typically require typing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of job. Visits to our manufacturing facility and suppliers’ facilities is required to monitor active projects and address design issues.
