The Welder B position will support safety, material organization and production initiatives.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Work with associates to fabricate air and water pollution control systems under the direction of the Production Manager with a focus on safety, accuracy, compliance and schedule. Typical tasks include:
• Prep and fit metal components (primarily carbon steel and stainless steel).
• Weld components into assemblies per supplied manufacturing drawings and bill of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work space.
Required Qualifications:
• Capable of reading and comprehending fabrication drawings and bill of materials.
• 3-7 years of welding experience.
• Ability to speak clearly and follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a group / team environment.
• Demonstrate welding proficiency for TIG and MIG process on carbon steel and stainless steel. (Qualified candidates will need to perform weld coupons as part of interview process.)
• Ability to Certify in AWS and ASME.
• Working knowledge of typical metal shop tools and machinery including but not limited to: grinder, drill, band saw, lathe, shear, press brake, etc.
• Capable of lifting equipment up to 75 lbs.
• Forklift operation experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clean drug test.

• Compliance with company attendance standards.
• Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel.
