The Regional Sales Manager supports the company’s Industrial Air market segment expansion in the Gulf Coast Central Region in North America with emphasis on CECO Adwest Brand RTOs, Thermal Oxidizers, DFTOs and VOC Concentrator systems. This position provides growing market share, revenue and bookings in North America for the entire product portfolio within CECO Adwest’s RTO & DFTO Thermal Oxidizer and VOC Concentrator system VOC Abatement segment. This role focuses across multiple end user, EPC and OEM customers and supports market applications including chemical & hydrocarbon processing, petrochemical, midstream, paint finishing, pharmaceuticals. printing, surface coating and converting, packaging, microelectronics, metal/chemical recycling, food processing.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:


• Successfully performs prospecting sales to existing and new customers/markets & deploys our strategy, understanding customer needs to create proposals to customers.


• Successfully perform the sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, and positioning of Industrial Air Solutions products and services utilizing Salesforce CRM for marketing and forecasting.


• Negotiates contracts - both technical and commercial aspects.


• Manages the strategic account planning process for the Gulf Coast/Central Region that sets & achieves performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.


• Ensures delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals, bookings and margin targets.


• Evaluates the overall market and competitors. Based on this analysis, develops a vision and strategy to create a more valuable, differentiated offering. Achieves sales objectives using this strategy.


• Performs new business generation and cross selling to existing & new customers.


• Builds and maintains strong and positive relationships primarily with end users and EPC clients.


• Maintains an opportunity pipeline & customer account data using Salesforce CRM.


• Manages data and communicates activities and results to effectively collaborate with the global sales team.


• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/chemical engineering or equivalent experience.


• Eight (8+) years of experience in selling Industrial Air Abatement, VOC Control, odor control and Combustion systems.


• Preferred Industry or application experience with Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plants, Chemical Facilities.


• Proven results identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships and a track record as a deal closer in highly technical sales markets.

 

Licensing or Certifications:


• None required; however, a Professional P.E. Certification is a plus.

Knowledge:


• Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce CRM, PowerPoint, ERP systems, ADP is beneficial. Familiarity preferred.


• Administration and Management – knowledge of business and management principles involved in P&L management, human resources staffing and evaluation, leadership technique and coordination of people and resources.


• Customer and Personal Service (intercultural skills, service minded) communication skills — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Travel Requirements:


• Incumbents are expected to travel up to 50% of the time; preferred to have the ability to travel across borders.
