The Inside Sales and Customer Support representative is responsible for generating sales leads and assisting closing deals by contacting potential customers primarily through phone, email, and online platforms, building relationships, providing product information to ultimately convert them into customers all while working within an office setting. The inside sales will partner with outside sales to drive revenue growth, and exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsible for actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and other lead-generating strategies. Representatives in this role are responsible for developing and maintaining information and market analyses relative to the business, as well as monitoring business opportunities for other business groups within KB Duct and Kirk & Blum.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Develop and implement business processes to support customer revenue growth.
• Achieve growth and hit company sales targets by successfully managing opportunities.
• Improve the KB Duct customer experience and create engaged customers.
• Work with the Engineering, Outside Sales, Manager to evaluate the potential of leads by understanding their needs and help determine if they are a good fit for the company’s product and services.
• Build rapport with prospective customers, answer their questions, address their questions and concerns to nurture relationships.
• Manage the sales process form initial contact through to closing the deal, including following up with leads and pricing.
• Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track sales activities, manage leads and maintain customer information.
• Follow strategies and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality interactions and follow up with each customer.
• Develop and report key metrics and dashboards to the team and Management.
• Prepare regular sales reports to analyze performance, identify trends, and track progress towards sales goals.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in sales and customer service. Experience in support of proven business development and technical selling techniques.
• Proven success working in inside sales team environment to consistently achieve sales targets.
• Proven experience working with a defined sales process with measurable stages and metrics.
• Competence with computer software and CRM.
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to positively influence CECO customers.
• Competence with computer software and a CRM.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency in business-related software packages (i.e., MS Office and Salesforce); exposure to ERP systems is preferred.
