The Electrical Technician Lead is a working team leader who provides the panel shop team with guidance and direction. Building, testing electrical panels for large water heaters. In this role, you are the primary point of contact for the panel shop. The Electrical Technician Panel Shop Team Leader is responsible for the assembly of wiring, testing and operation for our Direct Contact Water Heating Systems. The individual will be required to read blueprints and wiring diagrams while learning the basics of combustion and water heater technology. The Panel Shop Team Leader is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the panel shop. The individual will oversee the department ensuring that work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. The Team Leader assigns tasks to the 3 team members, provides guidance and training, and monitors progress to ensure deadlines are met. They also collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and testing to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Panel Shop Team Lead may handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling, inventory management and performance coaching.

Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Relative work experience with low voltage systems.
• Relative work experience in mechanical assembly.
• Basic Computer knowledge.
• Ability to build from schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Wiring devices such as sensors and actuators.
• Have good knowledge of electrical controls and components.
• Be dependable and detail orientated.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards.
• Mount components and wire according prints.
• Wire system to control panels per specifications.
• Troubleshoot and test control panels.
• Wire Control Panels to motors, blowers, burners and other devices for testing in our test PIT.
• Complete testing protocols fill out applicable paperwork after measuring for key Factory Acceptance Test criteria.
• Approach every project assuring safety standards are paramount and precisely utilized.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; use of hand tools and analyzers; and interpreting blueprints. proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Provide exemplary customer service skills; clearly communicate verbally and in writing; resolve issues quickly and correctly. Work as a team and individually; and have exceptional organizational skills.
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma required.
• Experience: 3-5 plus years of related industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Electro-Mechanical with pneumatics, hydraulics, AC/DC motor control, PLC’s, VFD’s, Pump Systems and Allen-Bradley Control platforms is a plus.
• Industrial wastewater treatment operational experience is a plus.
ADA Requirements:
Average Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. Work in temperatures above 100 degrees and the noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. Repetitively bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching; walking on slippery or uneven surfaces and climbing ladders and working off elevated surfaces during shift.
• Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
• Compliance with company attendance standards.
