The Project Engineer II is responsible for supporting the sales team in conducting engineering studies for clients, supporting the development of detailed proposals and supporting global project execution.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Reviews project specifications, drawings and Design Stress Calculations and performs Thermal and/or Static Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS to verify designs are adequate per ASME code criteria.
• Engineering and technical support to both Sales and Project Management.
• Provides technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations.
• Confers with other personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop suitable product designs.
• Attends internal meetings as required.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum (5) years engineering experience.
• Experience interfacing with sales, project execution, design & drafting and manufacturing regarding solution of product problems and translation of customer requirements into product specifications.
• Experience with ASME pressure vessel design.
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD (2-D), Inventor & 3-D a plus.
• Capable of conducting FEA analysis using ANSYS Mechanical Pro.
• Ability to overcome obstacles to achieve goals and adapt to a changing environment.
• Ability for travel, as required (less than 10%).
• Experience using MS Office, Excel, and other normal business software.
• Valid Driver’s License.
Travel Requirements:
• Incumbents are expected to travel as needed to support assigned business lines(s) and must have the ability to travel across borders.

Work Environment: This position is based in a remote, home-office setting. The role requires a dedicated workspace with reliable internet access and a quiet environment conducive to focused work. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to manage boundaries between work and personal life effectively. Minimal physical requirements, primarily computer use, and communication via virtual platforms, are necessary. Flexibility to adapt to occasional scheduled video meetings and collaborative tasks is essential.
Physical Demands: Positions in this function typically require standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
• Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
• Compliance with company attendance standards.
Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of forces constantly to move objects.
Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel.
