The Sr. IT ERP Specialist will be responsible for configuration, implementation, and support of the CECO ERP for each platform under the CECO brand. The ideal candidate will have extensive business process design and optimization experience as well as knowledge of manufacturing business processes, basic ecommerce technology, data management, broad understanding of the environmental industry, tenacity for solving problems, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

 

Your Responsibilities Will Be: 

 

  • Lead the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options and communicating this back to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and strong sense of urgency in all assignments.
  • Work with stakeholders and project teams to prioritize requirements.
  • Develop test cases, execute test plans, log defects, develop functional design specifications including workflow, validation, and logic requirements. Ensure designs can be traced back to requirements.
  • Understand and document process flows, integration points, forms and workflow requirements impacting areas of responsibilities.
  • Configure CECOs ERP requirements and perform unit testing.
  • Analyze business challenges, objectives and develop as is/to-be processes.
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements.
  • Collaborate with peers, stakeholders and project team to secure commitments and maintain accountability.
  • Lead the creation and impact of deployment and cutover plans.

 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or a related field and 5 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • 5+ years of hands-on implementation and support experience with D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.
  • Working knowledge and experience of other ERP systems.
  • Extensive experience working in specific areas such as Finance, Procurement, Sales, Distribution, Warehouse Management, Material and Resource Scheduling/ Planning, Production Routing, Bill of Material Costing, and Shop Floor. 
  • Prior experience in designing and implementing business solutions.
  • Experience with ERP implementations and Migrations to D365, ISVs and integrations
  • Ability to understand complex business problems and experience determining the explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations, and policies of new businesses.
  • Strong problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
  • Proven interpersonal skills and an ability to influence senior leaders and peers.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Experience creating documentation such as business case documentation, use case, story and acceptance criteria.
  • Proven Project Management skills and ability to initiate, plan and execute projects.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills.

 

Licensing or Certifications:

One or more of the following certifications is preferred:

  • Dynamics 365 certifications in Trade & Logistics, Production, and Shop Floor Control preferred.
  • Dynamics 365 certifications in Finance, Human Resources, and Project Accounting a plus

 

 

 

Travel Requirements (Requirement): Occasional travel may be required, as necessary; must have ability to travel across borders.

 

 

Office Positions

Work Environment: This position is based at the headquarters located in Dallas, TX. Minimal physical requirements, primarily computer use, and communication via virtual platforms, are necessary. Flexibility to adapt to occasional scheduled video meetings and collaborative tasks is essential.
