The Assembler is responsible for putting together components or parts to create finished products according to specifications. This role involves using hand tools and machinery, and performing quality checks to ensure products meet standards.

 

Your Responsibilities Will Be: 

 

  • Responsible for assembling filtration devices.
  • Working and communicating in a team
  • Responsible for pleating and cutting elements to size using band saw and circular saw.
  • Welding occasionally using bullet, cylinder, and endcap welding.
  • Working with different types of wraps, such as banding, drain layers, netting, and socking.
  • Review and follow the pace chart.
  • Able to read the traveler and follow directions when working on orders.
  • Confirm quality inspection of products.
  • Report any defective products to Operations.
  • Report on defective machinery to Automation
  • Ensure that the products are properly packed and palletized for shipment.
  • Keep the workstation clean to avoid safety hazards.
  • Ensure the safe use of equipment and follow safety guidelines.

 

 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • A High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
  • Knowledgeable in manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.
  • At least 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Able to use and understand measurements and using tape measurement tools is preferred.

 

 

ADA Requirements:

  • ADA Requirements: Standing and walking for long periods, often throughout an entire shift
  • Frequent Bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
  • Regularly lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects typically up to 50 pounds, and occasionally heavier items
  • Reaching with hands and arms and using common hand tools or warehouse equipment
  • The job is usually performed in a warehouse setting, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures  
  • Must be alert to warehouse hazards, such as forklift traffic and stacked products
