Over the years, Verantis has introduced a wide range of products to the industrial marketplace including tank linings, protective coatings, reinforced plastic process vessels, filamentous tower packing, corrosive air handling fans, and air pollution control equipment and systems.
This position requires a strong combination of technical expertise and sales skills to promote and sell Verantis’ Industrial Equipment and other products. The Exhaust Fan New and Aftermarket Sales Representative will serve as the primary interface between the company and its outside sales representatives, consultants, customers and potential customers for Exhaust Fan New and Aftermarket sales.
Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Drive sustainable, profitable sales growth of the Exhaust Fan New and Aftermarket product business.
• Develop or enhance internal tools and programs to support area sales growth where applicable.
• Win orders and work collaboratively within sales and across departments to promote growth.
• Apply consultative selling techniques to accurately assess customer needs and the competitive landscape for each opportunity, tailoring pricing and approach to secure a maximum amount of orders while maintaining corporate profitability targets.
• Gather market intelligence and understanding of Verantis’ competitive standing on proposals proactively, including won/lost reasons, providing feedback to the sales team.
• Utilize Verantis’ CRM system to manage effective follow-up and data capture.
• Generate high quality proposals and other customer responses within agreed upon deadlines.
• Provide technical expertise to customers, manufacturer’s representatives and engineering organizations to assist in the proper selection and differentiation of Verantis equipment.
• Primary responsibility for proposal-level design work including packing and fan selection.
• Accurately estimate costs including engineering, buy-out, and in-house manufactured items.
• Interpret contract terms and negotiate with clients to appropriately manage risk.
• Communicate Verantis commitments to customers and the project team internally effectively.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in sales, or business - engineering degree preferred; other degrees will be considered if accompanied by relevant experience.
• 5+ years’ sales and/or business experience in related field; industrial blower/air pollution control/industrial equipment or related are preferred.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to utilize CRM software.
• This individual must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work with customer specifications.
• Ability to work independently.
Travel Requirements:
• Incumbents are expected to travel as needed to support assigned business lines(s) and must have the ability to travel across borders.

Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, moving equipment and other standard industrial conditions, and is required to wear to personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Physical Demands: Positions in this function typically require standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
• Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
• Compliance with company attendance standards.
• Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of forces constantly to move objects.
Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel.
