The Warehouse Supervisor follows direction from the Inventory Operations Manager, works well with fellow employees, interacts appropriately with the public, completes all tasks quickly and safely, is service oriented and appropriately interacts with the purchaser and technicians.

 

Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Coordinate parts purchasing with Purchasing Department to maintain appropriate quantities of product and inventory within the warehouse to meet business demands within the surrounding area.
  • Manage all fulfillments (shipping and receiving) out of assigned region including the loading and unloading of trucks and shipments.
  • Receive materials, ensuring that each receipt/packing slip has a PO and is entered correctly into the ERP (NetSuite).
  • Perform interval cycle counts. Perform complete comprehensive physical inventory quarterly.
  • Organize and quantify surplus inventory materials.
  • Ensure that all materials and products are properly and safely stored and accounted for within the Company’s ERP (NetSuite).
  • Organize shelving and flow of product/storage and keep the entire shop and warehouse clean and orderly.
  • Help keep Profire Technicians’ Trucks properly stocked with necessary parts.
    • Perform Electronic ERP Warehouse/Truck Transfers – Local and in State
  • Assist the Purchaser with pricing from the vendors for special projects and local vendors.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with local suppliers.
  • Source raw material, packaging components, and finished goods from local suppliers as needed and directed by management.
  • Work with sales, service, and purchasing departments to communicate the availability and delivery of materials, tools, and supplies.
  • Manage ERP (Netsuite) transactions to ensure on-time release of orders.
  • Keep an appropriate inventory of tools and equipment needed in the warehouse.
  • As directed by Production manager, assemble, paint and test standardized “Fuel Train” skus for Warehouse utilization
  • Manage walk-in Sales process
  • Site maintenance responsibilities
    • Building/Facilities- Janitorial services & Maintenance
    • Yard upkeep/Pest control
    • Security/Alarm system
    • Utilities – TXU, City of Odessa, AT&T, etc.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and fulfillment. 
  • Knowledge of inventory practices including cycle counts and physical inventories. 
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, especially NetSuite. 
  • Ability to load/unload trucks and manage warehouse workflow. 
  • Strong organizational and housekeeping skills. 
  • Effective coordination with Purchasing, Sales, Technicians, and vendors. 
  • Ability to manage surplus inventory, tools, equipment, and technician truck stock. 
  • Accurate data-entry and transaction management. 
  • Ability to assist with basic mechanical assembly and testing tasks. 
  • Experience supporting walk-in sales. 
  • Experience overseeing basic facility maintenance and contractor coordination. 
  • Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset. 

ADA Requirements:  

Positions in this function typically require typing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.  

  • Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods. 
  • The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; any disagreeable elements are generally absent during normal performance of job.  Visits to our manufacturing facility and suppliers’ facilities is required to monitor active projects and address design issues. 
  • Compliance with company attendance standards.   

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
