The Structural Designer III is a senior‑level individual contributor responsible for developing accurate, fabrication‑ready structural and mechanical design packages for heavy industrial equipment. This role is intended for an experienced designer transitioning into an expert‑level structural designer, capable of independent technical judgment, minimal supervision, and ownership of complex designs from concept through fabrication.
This position includes the design of hot exhaust and flue gas ducting systems associated with pollution control equipment located downstream of large industrial combustion sources, including combustion turbines, boilers, and fired heaters. The successful candidate understands the unique challenges of high‑temperature, large‑scale ducting systems where thermal movement, fabrication practicality, and long‑term durability are critical.
